I officially started as pastor at Pleasant Grove on March 1, 2008. In the short amount of time that I have been here, the people have welcomed me with open arms. They have treated me in such a way that someone would think that they have known me my entire life. I am currently a student at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, and I am working on my Masters of Divinity in Apologetics. I am currently single and have no children.

I am looking forward to serving here at Pleasant Grove. I truly believe that God has some great plans for this community. As Jesus tells us in Matthew 9:37 “the harvest truly is plentiful…” I believe that if the community realizes what Pleasant Grove has to offer and the love that is shared among the people, then they will fall in love with Pleasant Grove just as I have.
